Summary of Curriculum
Inka Kings, was formed and established in Los Angeles, California in 1991. Established and Directed by Miguel Angel Jaldin, with an extensive musical experience in Europe (Switzerland, Denmark, Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, France, etc.) and Latin America (Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Brasil and Mexico).
The Inka Kings originate from Bolivia, and throughout the years, evolved and now they combine Andean/Folkloric rhythms as well as Latin/Tropical rhythms and Spaniard Flamenco (rumba) Guitars.
The instruments used are those of ethnic origin: “Zamponas” (pan flute). “Quenas” (ethnic flutes), “Charango” (mandolin-like – small guitar), “Bombos” (tom-tom), etc. and contemporaneous ones such as guitars, keyboards, bass, drums, to create a new and fascinating fusion of music, rhythms and styles.
The band includes but is not limited to the following members: Miguel Angel Jaldin – Band Leader – Zamponas (ethnic wind instrument) Guitar, Charango, Vocals; Severo Jaldin – Guitar and Vocals; Miguel Tristan De La Gloria – Electro acoustic Guitar, Bass, Vocals; Marlon Lopez– Percusion, Bombos, Gongas and Timbales
Inka Kings participates in radio and television programs and performs concerts and presentations in festivals, colleges, clubs, theaters and resorts, as well as in official and private venues around the United States. The following is a partial list of performances:
